The biggest event in Negril is Jamaica Beachfest, which takes place during spring break. During that time, Negril comes to life when students descend by the thousands.
The Caribbean Veggie Fest (March) takes place at the Rhodes Hall Plantation. Visitors get to sample vegetarian dishes prepared in a variety of ways. Another popular culinary event, the Epicurian Escape Food Festival, takes place at Grand Lido Negril during the month of June. Go experience cooking demonstrations by award-winning chefs. Wine- and spirit-tasting are also a part of this experience.
The Reggae Marathon & Half Marathon is Jamaica's premier marathon event. Held in December, it includes an expo and victory party and attracts marathoners from around the world.
